ediskujovic
Hey guys Im having trouble creating a nice looking glass on the house I am working on. I am using HDRi dome+vray sun. What I tried is to put some light in side of the house by placing a sphere light at 8000 Luminance with white color in each room with a window. Now I am not sure are those the right values, or is this the way to go. Has someone done the exterior glass with this technique? This is what I am looking for and it seems that he has some interior lighting: Reference Image Thanks
Devin Johnston
There's no such thing as right values because everyone's scenes are setup differently and what might work for one person won't work for another. Set your values to what ever level looks the best and move on.
Chris MacDonald
Here's how that exact image was made: http://www.ronenbekerman.com/making-of-stadtpark-biel/
ediskujovic
Yes I know, I took the image from that making-of as a reference. The values were only a said question. I wanted to know if any of you put artificial lights on exterior daylight render scene, such as interior lights to improve realism on window glass. I got somewhere with my windows but only after some heavy post process, I want to make them look good raw out of render. Glass
