mindaugasbucas
Hello, i have a question is it possible to reduce primary bounce (Vray, 3ds max) on specific face. F.e. i have a white table and i want that one face of it get less light. Or should i apply slighty grey material to that specific face? Thank you in advance. ediskujovic
I think you can. Right click on object, properties and reduce the GI if you want to reduce the bounces. Play with it to get the result. Sorry if I am wrong but i think this is how you do it. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
notamondayfan
Or you could look at the problem, figure out what's happening and do it properly? My initial reaction would be to check materials (is it too white?), then lighting (have I got a spotlight directly lighting the table top?), then reflections (is the table reflecting the window / sky?). Messing around with GI bounces will lead to less realistic / accurate results, much in the same way scalling objects because they don't look "right".
