Chris MacDonald
You'll spend more time in photoshop than re-rendering it. How long did that take? 20-30 minutes?
Corey Beaulieu
Surface Blur or the Luminance Noise Reduction feature in Camera Raw. But really what this looks like is a low light condition that I would work on in Max before using Photoshop.
nasosmanousaridis
My pc is not that good and it will take longer
Chris MacDonald
That will take longer than 20 minutes? What are you rendering it on? A calculator? The image is hugely underexposed anyway, I'd deal with that first before worrying about the splotches.
nasosmanousaridis
Yes, otherwise i would render it again.
Chris MacDonald
Perhaps your time might be more wisely invested in tweaking your render settings so they don't take an ice age? Seems to me that fixing problems like this (properly) in photoshop is going to take longer, and more effort than re-rendering it with some far more reasonable settings. jackarnold
This splotchyness is most likely down to the scene being under-lit. If you check your GI render element pass I'm sure that will be where the splotches show. This is fixed really easily just by bringing more light into the scene. Increasing your GI settings can also help in some situations. If you really want to do it in Photoshop which I advise against, you can create a mask of the splotchy areas and gaussian blur it, although this is really not how I'd recommend fixing it, as you will lose details and shadows and really mess up the look of lighting.
