christopherdeluca
Hi all, I recently installed max 2016 and have noticed whenever I try to move, or copy new geometry the groups turn into wireframe blocks. Making it hard to place the object correctly. It is a very large scene but this would not happen on the same machine when I would run max 2012. I attached two images to show what is happening. Is this a preference issue or just an issue with this years release?
Justin Hunt
2 things happening, first is the geometry is being downgraded to wireframe/ box display, this can be turned off in your display settings, and second max2016 has a bug with groups which is fixed in SP1. christopherdeluca
Thanks for the answer! I installed the service pack. Where would this display setting box be located ?
christopherdeluca
I found the hot key, all one has to do is hit the letter O to turn off adaptive degradation. I could not find it in preferences, but this works just as well.
