norbertmeszaros
Hi everybody! I am new on this forum and have a question. So here is what i did: 1. Exported character from MakeHuman 2. Imported character in 3ds Max 3. Made cloth (shirt + skirt) with the cloth modifier 4. Made a walk cycle animation for the character 5. Simulated cloth motion with the cloth modifier This work actually very nicely, but the problem is i want to use that character with the animation in Unreal Engine 4. I want to export the whole character as one mesh, so i need to attach the clothing permanently to the mesh while preserving the simulation. I don't get it work unfortunately. Here are some pictures: Mesh in 3 parts: http://www.mediafire.com/view/xxl0um4muas6gr6/Pic1.jpg Mesh animated with cloth simulation: http://www.mediafire.com/view/ae5ag64s0su2cc8/Pic2.jpg I have an "Editable Poly" and a "Skin" modifier for the mesh, and i have several modifiers along with "Cloth" on the shirt and the skirt. How would you go attaching this three part into one while preserving the animation and cloth simulation?? I tried a lot of things from skinning the cloth to the mesh (terrible results!), to proboolean (that makes my cloth disappear completely when playing the animation), i tried baking animation also, but nothing worked. So if anyone knows the solution please share! Thanks!
