alexeykim
Hi I'd like to introduce our new search engine: http://3dmdb.com - 3d model search engine Its like google, but for 3d models. Can you suggest more shops to index? Alex
Corey Beaulieu
This is great! I like that it incorporates both paid and free sites. Thanks for doing the legwork.

Nicolai Bongard
Thanks! This is a great tool! One suggestion is to add a function to sort by price range.

John Dollus
Alexey, This is a great tool but i would suggest you spend some time curating the links as the site becomes more popular. If everyone and their cousin who has a model to give away is added to your index, it will severely dilute the value.
alexeykim
We're working on more accurate ranking algorithm. It will use user behavior and site quality. Edited October 16, 2015 by alexeykim
Francisco Penaloza
good job man, this very is useful. on the web side, can you make the scroll bar just plain visible, all those "Stylish" design good looking scrolling bar and just hard to use, not practical, you wan the people to just browse freely your website, and not get frustrated because you can scroll down the page. cheers. Rich O
Possible to search only certain sites; maybe add checkboxes for which sites you want to search?
alexeykim
Just add site name in search for example http://3dmdb.com/?q=TurboSquid+cars
Ernest Burden III
Just add site name in search for example http://3dmdb.com/?q=TurboSquid+cars To do that we could just go to Turbosquid and search 'cars'. Possible to search only certain sites; maybe add checkboxes for which sites you want to search? A set of checkboxes allows to search multiple sites but also exclude some, which would be very useful. Thank you again for putting this together, it is really appreciated.
alexeykim
You could use +- notation Like: -3dOcean.net -3dexport -turbosquid +car + golf http://3dmdb.com/?q=-3dOcean.net+-3dexport+-turbosquid++%2Bcar+%2B+golf http://3dmdb.com/?q=-3dOcean.net+-3dexport+-turbosquid++%2Bcar+%2B+golf+-key+-audi
alexeykim
Here are a few more to think about adding: http://www.sugar3d.com/ its impossible to index sugar3d, because its use Flash technology. We can't have link to individual models. Do you relate to site owner?
Andres Saarnak
There is a small problem with pro models from 3dsky.org as they appear to be free (which they are not). This is very useful site anyway, thank You!
alexeykim
Oy! Will fix. I think we'll set 8$ price to all pro models on 3dsky. Thank you! RyderSK
It's superb idea. Possible idea would be some sorting on results. [relevance/popularity/quality/price]

Ernest Burden III
Alexy, keep it going, I use the tool frequently (in fact a few minutes ago). If you add some more model sites that would be great, but you already save me lots of time, so THANK YOU.

So in about two month I think almost all 3d model stores and stocks will be in our index!
artmaknev
3dsky dominates all my searches lol, I sometimes have a dilemma to search on your engine and knowing that I will eventually end up on 3dsky website or just go directly to 3dsky but maybe a day will come when I buy something from turbosquid!
