Terri Brown
Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone has an answer to this one: My usual workflow when compositing in PS is to render out a few elements (of which Wire Color is one) of my final image, and to re-render the Wire Color with glass switched off. The Wire Color pass with glass turned ON always has the glass pane shown as totally opaque. All of a sudden though the element is rendering with a slight opacity, like this: As you can see the glass pane on the left is transparent. I'd prefer it back to a solid color. Any idea on how to change that? Is it a material option? A depth issue? I have Override Depth in Global render options checked to 20. Thanks guys

maxryhan
That's because of "Affect all channel " is enabled for the glass material under Affect Channels parameter, so all channels and render elements will be affected by the transparency of the material... change it to Color+alpha and the wirecolor would be okay again cheers. James Vella
in the refraction material for the glass make sure instead of all channels or with alpha it is color only
