Help! The best schools of architectural visualisation.

Hello everyone!

 

I've been recently graduated in architecture, i have a basic knowledge of Sketchup, Vray and photoshop, but now i want to get to a professional level, where i can do very realistic renders in a minimum of time, and using the right workflow. (Which may make me switch to 3DS max evantually...)

 

I'm aware that it could be a decisive choice for my career, and that's why i'm asking for your help guys! Video tutorials are pretty okay, but for now, i need a full time program of minimum one year, to start back from zero and put myself on the right rails.

 

I hope you have some suggestions for me, it doesn't matter in which part of the globe it is, as long as the school has good standards and is not too much expensive.

Hello everyone!

This is my first post, so I would like to introduce myself. I am a graduate architect from Poland, currently living in Australia, Perth. I have a similar 'problem' like Abihat from the post above. I have already a knowledge of 3ds Max & Vray Sketchup and Photoshop, but I used to work mostly in Sketchup before. I would like to improve my 3d modeling/rendering and post production skills and achieve a professional level, moreover, I'm eager to learn an architectural animation using 3ds Max or maybe other software as well.

 

That's why I am writing with several questions:

 

1) Does it make any sense to attend any postgraduate courses/school that can offer you Adobe / Autodesk certificate or learning from the recources found online is enough nowadays? (I learn from lynda.com and some yt tutorials). I am self motivated and i like studying on my own, but maybe a course would help me to achieve my goals easier and faster.

 

2) As I said, I live in Perth, WA, I have a possibility to enroll to TAFE animation courses, has anyone any experiences with this school? However, I reckon, they base more on videogames.

 

 

3) I am considering jumping back to Europe for a half year courses in Spain - has anyone heard about them?

4) I am also thinking of any courses in Asia, because of the proximity to Australia and probably a cheaper price, but I need any recommendation to be sure the school provides a high quality learning program.
