niloyarifin
One of my friend going to buy a pc. It is going to be his main wotkstation (for Photoshop, revit, max, cad ,i mean mostly for modeling). Now the problem is MONEY. His first choice is 4790k+16gb ram+ 250 ssd+ 750ti +620 psu(he has plan in upgrading the gpu later) Or he can move to the skylake platform... But in that case there will be no ssd and a lower wattage psu...may b corsair vx450... Now tell me what should he do? How much workstation performance increases towards DDR3 to DDR4... In both of this cases he choose cheapest but decent ram and mobos....just for u know. [emoji6] Sent from my Symphony W68 using Tapatalk
Francisco Penaloza
nah, I think he'll be fine with the 4790K, unless he pick a 6 core CPU the difference won't be that much. Having a 4Ghz CPU with a SSD will make most of the app just fly for regular uses. When rendering kick in a 6 core cpu will be better, but if budget can't permit, the 4790K will be just fine for a while. I would invest more money on the RAM, 16Gb for today standard seems a little short.

If he can afford all of those program licenses, I'm sure going with 32 gb ram won't be a problem.
