Sanj
I have some confusion about updating changes in Vray proxies Lets say, I create a Vray proxy from a hipoly teapot and save this file. Lets call this ' original file' I open a new file and import the Vray proxy of the teapot. When I render the Vray proxy all is fine. Lets call this ' proxyfile ' Now I go back to make some changes to my original teapot and save the file. Will the changes be updated in my proxy file? Thanks for your help in advance. Tommy L
no, you need to re-export to proxy.
ronel
yes it will, just refresh your 3d max and it will be updated.
Tommy L
No, if you change your teapot in the original file and save the max file the proxy will NOT be updated. You need to open the original file, make the changes, export the proxy and over-write the proxy file. Only then will the teapot be updated in the max file that is rendering the proxy.
