Help with v-ray settings in 3ds max 2015. INTERIOR

hey there

im soon nuking the shit out of this computer i got. i cant seem to get the settings i want for vray and 3ds max.

ive build a interior view. trying to learn. and added lights. done lots of tutors on vray and tried many settings found on google, but nothing seems to work. can someone please help me?

 

look at attachment. i want the image as crispy clear as possile with no "dots" or any failure. anyone have a good setting for this kind of setup?

i want it to look as the render i sent. colorwise and as clear.

When asking about stuff like this, it is usually a good idea to post your render settings so that people can see where youve gone wrong. The thing about most tutorials is that they post settings for one scene that works with the material, geometry and lights in that scene, and may not work so well for another scene. Additionaly, if you pick and choose random settings from lots of different tutorials without understanding what they do, you are pretty much asking for trouble. Luckily there is a method that pretty much works all the time, provided you have the time to wait for a render: Go to the chaosgroup forums and find the thread about universal render settings.

I would advise working on one thing at a time. First, work on lighting and color mapping. Change all your materials to a grey material via the material override in the Global Switches tab. The start with GI. Choose the HDRI (if using) and then adjust your lights at the windows. Are you using a Vray Camera? If so, then spend some time reading up on camera settings of real work photography. Don't worry about getting rid of the splotches just yet. Get eh that lighting correct. Also, try a linear color mapping. Not saying it is better, but it will give you more contrast.

 

For your settings, in general the smaller the sample size the more noise you will get. The larger the sample size the less noise, but the less detail. You have to find the balance between them. Currently you have two issues. The first is GI the second is image sampler. I would reset all of your rendering settings and start over. You can do this by changing the renderer and changing it back. Then work on piece by piece. Use the defaults for all the settings and keep posting back. We will get you there.
