Merge issue with Evermotion trees and Max 15

Hey everyone,

 

 

I have an issue when merging Evermotion models in my Max 2015 scene :(....the are merged as groups of several meshes and not as a single mesh as when merging them with Max 14 or older :(

 

 

As you need to ungroup the merged tree and then attach all meshes together, textures look wrong despite you accept to preserve the ID of the materials when attaching.

In order to collapse the mesh successfully and maintain proper UVW mapping and materials you need to do the following. Select one of the meshes, under the modify panel at the top of the stack right click and select editable mesh. Under the mesh select attach list and select all objects that are apart of your model. When the attach options dialogue pops up select match material ID's to material.
