Moving many splines in unison?

I have two (2) 2x4 boards , 12 feet apart.

 

Left board is stationary, the right board needs to be positionable.

 

Connecting both boards is a clothes line with some slack, using renderable splines as my clothes line.

 

I laid out 20 splines and attached all together so I don't have to deal with the clutter of too many lines, then applied the renderable spline command.

 

Is there a way to attach one side of the lines to the right board, and have them move with the board as I move it around my scene?

 

I need to be able to move the board around, and give the lines a slight twist.

 

Not even sure renderable splines are the way to go.
