With 57 cores@1100 MHz this should be faster than the cheapest 18-core Intel CPU for a third of the price.....? Maybe those are made for something completely different. They still require compiling the code in same way using Openl/CUDA does, albeit slightly more simply. The ChaosGroup guys (Vlado @Vray) tried to build some prototype and they weren't too impressed, although imho the results looked OK. But I guess it didn't receive further attention at the moment.
