adamsayash
Is this wrong ?? The frame dimension (3000*2250)! I attached my render setting that worked with me very well in a previous project but it didn't take much time like this time! Corey Beaulieu
It would depend on your settings. You may consider posting more information than simply aspect ratio.

Hello Corey, I attached my render setting photos in the main post. I'd like you to check them and tell me what's wrong. Thanks!
augustobohm
Hi Adams, the vray settings are ok for me, nothing that could increase too much the time of your rendering, but other thing is, what is you PC settings? And is your scene big? or with many lights, reflections and models?

And is your scene big? or with many lights, reflections and models? Hello Augusto, my PC is Dell XPS - Core i7 - 4GB RAM - Nividia 2GB. The scene is not big, only one interior wall elevation but the materials are heavy with heavy maps. And I'm using vraysun + 2 vraylights + cylinderical vraylight material. augustobohm
Well... then i don't know, in your case i would make a checklist, like trying a clay render, then removing the lights, models, ans see where is the problem, save a backup file and literally destroy your scene, or maybe merge the entire scene(which you said is not big) into a new max file. Worked me in my last project.
Scott Schroeder
Things I noticed. -Low RAM on your machine, so probably an older i7 processor in there. -Don't use image filtering, not using filtering is similar to what you'll get with Mitchell-Netravali anyways but with some speed increase. -50 min samples? Why? Do you even know why you set it this way? -1.5 global suddivs? Why? Just leave it at 1. This multiplies everything in your scene. -Too low dynamic memory. You need to be at least 80% of your system RAM, not the default 400mb. -Don't lock the DMC image sampler threshold with the DMC sampler threshold. Can increase render times. -50 max transparency levels? -Don't bake AO in with your Irradience map. It looks bad and it takes extra calculation time. -Why is your light cache set to world if this is a still image? -You need to check to make sure "Use Light Cache for Glossy Rays" is ON. It's a huge time saver. To put it bluntly, your settings are messy. You need to do some more research in Vray settings.

I will take all of this in consideration the next time.
adamsayash
A good video tutorial on vray settings to start with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pak8wx7KNEA Thanks
notamondayfan
Also let's not forget what's actually in the scene, which actually has the biggest effect on render times! Remember things like refraction, SSS, reflections, etc will affect render times massively, then there's lights, HDR, effects too.
