philvanderloo Posted November 8, 2015 Share Posted November 8, 2015 Every time I download a model from a website, like books, I open the .max file and everything is as it should be. But when I merge the books into another scene, none of the maps are present. I thought if they were in the same folder as the model it would be automatic. Is there a quick easy way to assign these maps without going into each material individually and changing the path? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Francisco Penaloza Posted November 9, 2015 Share Posted November 9, 2015 That is because Max is a little clumpsy to manage maps. It will show the maps in your material editor but it will still have the absolute address of the original model. I will strongly recommend to use script called relink bitmap. it is great to relink all textures and proxies for your scene. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
