Chris MacDonald
So I just found out that there are people this day in age that genuinely believe in a flat earth. Just search it on youtube. Most of it stems from profound misunderstandings of how perspective works.
Corey Beaulieu
oh man..... it gets so much worse. This guy has made the rounds on the Podcast circuit and I can't even hear the nonsense anymore: http://deepinsidetherabbithole.com/ He has his own podcast with actual followers. It's insane. Thought the guy was joking, but no, deadly serious Same sort that bang on about chemtrails no doubt.

Andres Saarnak
I just can´t figure out why there is so much of this kind of BS. Flat earth, ghosts, aliens, reptiles, guys with pendulums, all sorts of healers, different religions...the list is endless...And it´s most certainly not the lack of education (at least formal education). It´s surprising to find out these people are quite often someone you would (otherwise) consider intelligent.
Justin Hunt
I thought we all knew that we are really living on a flat disk, resting on the backs of 4 giant elephants, who in turn are riding on the back of the giant turtle called the "Great A'Tuin" swimming through space. Oh wait I have been reading to many Diskworld novels

I am pretty reluctant to add 3D people to my Facebook because the chance of them routinely posting conspiratory shit and every hoax on planet (or at least some ridiculous anti-western views... ) proven to be so high I have to delete them again and it just gets awkward over time... Being able to professionally use technologies in your day job no longer even remotely equates to enough critical thinking.
Chris MacDonald
The thing that gets me is that they are using geostationary satellites in their communications to post this shit. They fail to see the irony in this.

Not just that, they still look so plastic and in most cases "overly solid" than their environments. 2d people is still the way to go to reach the uncanny valley. Chris MacDonald
When somebody on FB shares some bullshit (eg. anti-vaccines article without credible arguments), do you find it right to engage or simply not bother? I spent years ignoring it, hoping that other people would correct them but to no avail. These days I get properly stuck in and comment.
Stephen Thomas
Facebook should have a default message that pops up along the lines of "are you sure you don't want to check snopes.com before posting this?"
