bardlind
Hello, I am having some trouble when rendering an interior rendering in V-ray for Sketchup (see attached image). The image is one of two views for a VR sphere, and is comprised of 360 stitched 1 degree renderings (incremental add to irradiance map). However, the same error occurs when I render a 360 degree view with a spherical camera. As you see, the transition between wall and ceiling, as well as the closets in the back suffer from blotchy light leaks. There is also an issue with the curtains, but that might have to do with the shadows from trees so I'm less concerned about that. The scene is lit with standard V-ray for Sketchup settings, as well as an invisible plane light in the ceiling in the back of the room. I have tried setting the irradiance basic paramters to 1 (on both min. and max. rate), subdivs to 200 and interp. samples to 80. The render time was horrible, but the result was the same. I also tried replacing the geometry in the wall and ceiling. Still same result. I should mention that I have rendered other views with the same settings and from the same scene, which looked perfect. I have even rendered other images from this same room that looked good. Any suggestions to what I should try next is appreciated! Could it be the "incremental add" on the irradiance map that does it? I am using this, as I am rendering 720 images (of 1 degree each), and do not want to create a new irradiance map for each rendered image.
