Francisco Penaloza
only use a HDRI of dusk or night, then adjust your other lights accordingly.
Devin Johnston
Use a Vray sun/sky setup and animate the sun moving across the sky, probably the easiest way to do it.
Jesper Pedersen
Hi Moo, I'd recommend buying just a single sky (we use HDRIs from Peter Guthrie : http://www.pg-skies.net/collections/all-skies?page=5 ). There's a max file already setup with vRay, so you just import your geometry into this and then use the settings already set up. You will still need to add some simple interior lighting, but as your skills improve you'll find it's easier than you think. We often use simple geometry (ie plates to simulate llights) with a VRay light material on them (not good enough for close-up work but if you are lighting an entire office block it's easy and looks good. So in short, light the model using just a vRay sky dome with a hdri (ie no vRay sun needed). Good luck Regards Jesper Pedersen www.pedersenfocus.ie
