Cedar shingles in Atiles plugin

I have the plugin for the roof tiles, but the type I want is timber shingles.

Can anybody point me to a tutorial on populating a roof or roofs with a this plugin.

I have tried Rail clones but can't work it out either.

With Atiles you have the option to create boxes as the geometry, then just add segments and a noise modifier or something? Ultimately you should have an easyer time and better results using railclone. Just do some tutorials first and you should be fine.

I haven’t heard anything like this before, maybe it’s better to get some advice from the roofing contractors if possible. They might have a better idea on what should be done and how it needs to be implemented. I used to get advice from or hire commercial roofing contractors of Empire Roofing Corporation, for all the works and support.
