STRAT
each 3d app allows you to blur reflections. you'll have to read your manual to see how

Crazy Homeless Guy
be careful, blurred reflections greatly increase rendering times. you might be better off bluring the reflections post process. either by manually selecting and blurring in photoshop, or if it is max, use combustion and either the RLA format or the RPF format. I think aftereffects also supports RLA, but RLA is not as sophisticated as RPF. I have never had luck with either one, but I have not spent as much time as I should using them either. pmanahan
There should also be a falloff for your reflections, so they fade out the further away from the object they are, this helps to tone down the reflections. pmanahan
kippu
yes if its vray then decrease glossies below 1 and decrease subdivs to around 8 or
Fran
I don't think it's VRay. It looks like scanline with radiosity because of the jaggies on the reflections. There isn't an easy way to blur reflections with max scanline. Even if you do figure out how to do it, it is impossibly slow. To get rid of the jaggies, supersample your floor material.
