Virgil Johnson
Loaded the new 3.30.03 into Max 2016. Lost the ability to load a physical camera. Sent email to dealer. No response. Happen to anyone else? (losing the physical camera that is) Virgil
Nicolai Bongard
"Please note than in 3ds Max 2016 the VRayPhysicalCamera is not directly accessible through the menu. Instead you can use the new 3ds Max Physical camera type" ... "It matches the VRayPhysicalCamera functionality. When you create a Physical camera, a new Exposure Control will be created automatically. You can use it to control the exposure of the rendered image." ... "If you still want to create a VRayPhysicalCamera you can do that by running the following command in Max Script: vrayCreateVRayPhysicalCamera() "

TomasEsperanza
I prefer the new physical camera. Just curious, what are the differences?
Chris MacDonald
The vertical shift updates automatically, DOF previews in viewports, you can choose many, many different ways to expose your scene including EV's. The lens breathing feature is excellent for animated bokeh.
