inpow watir
I recently import merged a car model from evermotion collection 5 to my scene just to find out it is scattered when already in my scene. See the pic attached. Tried to explode the grouping in the model file and regroup, but the result is the same. Does anyone here know why this is hsppening and how to overcome this, i'm chasing deadline for tomm, highly appreciate any solution shared. edit: forgot to add: i'm using max 2012
Guest dialog
Are there any xref objects? Try attaching everything in the car model as one object. Save a copy. Then import that and see if it works. We do this and then create proxies from that combined model.
Josef Wienerroither
if you merge a scene, be sure that your current scene and the one you merge in has the same system unit scale
inpow watir
Update: SOLVED. Model has no xref object, attaching everything did not helps, unit scale different does not a matter, the problem, my friends, is: the model has poly & mesh parts on its object elements mixed on it, perhaps i edited some of it previously & forgot. After tried to unified & convert it all to poly all was went smooth.. What a relieve! Deadline meets :-D Thanks anyway for your effort in trying to help me everyone, cheers! :-))
