mustafisufi Posted February 3, 2016 Share Posted February 3, 2016 hello!! i'm new in 3ds max and in this forum. i wanted to ask for your help for a issue i cannot figure out how to do. i want to move a edge in X and Y direction in 3ds max with exact dimensions from another edge. as shown in the figure i want to move the edge in x direction the x value at a specified distance. is there a way i can do it ? Jose Negrete Posted February 3, 2016 Share Posted February 3, 2016 turn on edge constraints, then move the selected edge all the way to the left, it will go as far as it can. then input the desired offset value to move it back to the right using the transform type in window.
