simonm
Hi all Someting that ive never known how to do (embarassingly) is correctly map a texture to a correct UVW map. For instance, if I have a texture map that is 2000x1345 pixels for instance - if i applied a UVW map, what numbers within the UVW parameters would i need to enter to correctly map this texture so that it doesnt stretch in either height or width if that makes sense. Much appreciated
Francisco Penaloza
you could use the bitmap fit button on the uvw map modifier.
Chris MacDonald
I cheat. I put the image size in pixels into the render output size boxes and lock the image aspect ratio, then input the new size that I want it to be and it'll scale it proportionally. Then just put those values into the bitmap and reset the render output back to whatever it was before.
