vray material help

Hey guys, i am trying to recreate a metallic material and i am having a lot of trouble with it.

I know my scene might not be bright enough to get that effect. but other than that, i have no idea what to do. I made two materials, a redish brass material and a shiny steel material. I used vray blend to blend them together with a falloff in the blend slot.

i just can't get that sharp cut down the middle... well or any of the rest of the details really

any suggestions would be awesome. thank you!
