joshreiner
I am new to 3ds Max and found a video online for creating a sky using an image file (360 view of the sky) and applying it as a texture to a sphere which you remove the bottom half of. The issue I am running into is the image "tiles" when applied to the half sphere. I have followed the step layed out in the video tutorial exactly but there seems to be some preset on my software that is doing this. Anyone have any idea what the issue could be? joshreiner
Thanks for the thought. But did not do the trick. Any other ideas?
Francisco Penaloza
it should work, are you texture coordinates in world scale?? they need to match, on the bitmap shader and the uvw modifier. I usually don't use world scale but if you un check that you need to un check on the modifier too.
