Jeff Mottle
Hey guys just saw this article about the Museum of glass and thought this would be a good topic for the next challenge. A glass house of sorts. http://www.architectureweek.com/2002/1009/design_1-1.html What do think? Test those raytrace and caustics engines. Francois
Sounds great. Do you have a 3D model already. Chalenges are fun. although they take time... It is fun to see one model rendered by many people. The results are all different and interesting. François
nisus
Hi Jeff, This sounds like a contest on one topic of the *T&T, which has been discussed - and also approved (?) - by many on these forums. I like the idea a lot, especially when tips are shared on the forum too. Way to go! rgds nisus T&T= Tips&Techniques

For those that want to do some research... there are some cool things that you can look into in this book: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0870700979/qid=1035417661/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/104-1119855-2007134?v=glance One of the projects i worked on with Michael Bell is in there. Enginz-01
I'm willing to work out the challenge. The model should be supplied.
Christopher Nichols
I would prefer to work on my own designs, and not have a model supplied.

A new challenge is comigng very soon and there will be a big surprise being annouced as well for the challenges. VERY BIG indeed! BigKahuna has offered to supply a model for the next challenge so I will be using this, but the challenge following this will be a model your own challenge. Keep your eyes peeled for more info.
