This is maybe offtopic, but here on general disscusion is more people What is best architect forum on internet, where can I ask questions about architecture eg. windows, doors, roof etc. ?

Skyscrapercity is a good one, it started as a forum discussing skyscrapers in the Netherlands and now has 1000's and thousands of forums and threads focused on cities and regions across the globe. Its good for tracking developments from proposal to finish (possibly even to demolition), you can look at specific places and its not just architecture there's threads on transport/infrastructure, art, photography, economy, politics to fantasy projects which usually all links into architecture and property development. One of the best managed sub forums on there is the Manchester UK forum and the members on that forum have even been referenced in sources for articles in the main regional newspaper the Manchester Evening News, there have been (successful) campaigns which have started from the Manc forums and anyone can comment.

You could try here. A lot of us have a background in architecture (I was a technician) and work in architecture practices.

Although alexa is not the only reference but in most cases it could help a lot. Currently I am on skyscrapercity and archinect.
