kornelsevinger
Hello everyone. I hope someone can finally help me with this problem, im tried almost EVERYTHING possible, im at the 17th test rendering now, its my second day since im struggling with this, there is just no solution for this?(vray 2.40) I need this for a project, this is just a basic render for fast renderings but... i just cant figure out what the hell could i do.. The flickering stops if the camera does not move.. but... the should be a fix for that.. https://media.giphy.com/media/xTb1RCWsAESS0bnWDK/giphy.gif
andrewmunene
try changing your render settings to Bruteforce + Lightcache. It's the easiest way to eliminate flickering but will greatly increase your render times
Francisco Penaloza
No, the problem is samples, your noise values needs to be lower or your sample values need to increase, or a mix of both. Also you don't have much light in that tunnel that will make your GI work more. Try to put more lights and make it darker later in post.
Chris MacDonald
Don't try to render out a very dark, very high contrast scene as this will always result in noise. Manage your camera exposure and lighting so that you get a better range of values to work with and add then contrast in post. By creating this uber high contrast scene you are also making the render engine work harder. As per the previous posts, the flickering/scintillating is from not having high enough render settings in general - most likely anti-aliasing. cg_Butler
If you haven't got gamma 2.2 setup I'd suggest that to boost the lighting right off the bat. Can you post your render settings for us to actually see. not these test settings, but the final render settings. We can probably pin point the settings to increase if we can see them
