ianmoran
Hello guys, I need to create a wall texture like the attachment for an exterior feature wall on a single story residential property. The wall I need to create is the Simpson Sand French Pattern. I have been unable to find a similar texture online or in my library. Does anybody have any idea where I may find a texture similar, even one that I could modify in Photoshop? Another alternative may have to be that I simply model the bricks. I have also attached the visualisation in its current state. It is the front feature wall on the porch that will be replaced. Thank you in advance for any advice. Francisco Penaloza
Stone work it is always a pain to do. They are very random so I usually end up in Photoshop making large patterns or maps to use. You may not find 'the one' texture online, but you may have to build it from several of them. If your budget allows it, I think this will be a good option to use. http://www.vizpark.com/shop/omnitiles/
ianmoran
Hello, thanks guys for the information. Benjamin - I have already tried the arroways stone collections, in fact the current feature wall is one of their textures I believe. I seemed to overlook this particular one that you suggested though. I can certainly use this as a base and build it up from there. Thanks for the great suggestion! Francisco - Thanks for the plug-in suggestion. Unfortunately I am using Maya and Vray and this looks to be a Max plug-in. I think I will attempt to do what you suggested, Francisco, and try to make the map in Photoshop, starting with the texture that Benjamin suggested. Hopefully my skills are enough to get me there. Thank you so much guys.
