Scene states/State sets or other options?

I have a pretty much simple task which I have never needed to be done before.

I need to render the same object with 3 different cameras, but the object must be placed in different locations for every camera.

Note that I cannot use frames.

Is it possible with scene states or state sets or whatever other confusing name Autodesk came up with?

Simplest way would be scene states with batch camera. Unfortunately I think since 2014 both of these are a bit buggy, but theres a script you can try that replicates the batch camera and scene states is fairly useable in 2016.

Alternatively use a render pass manager such as;

RPM (paid, awesome, maybe overkill for what u need)

LPM (free, havent tried it)
