Atom
I work with ADT to build my model then import my dwg. into MAX6 and apply my maps, my question is for anyone who has a simliar process what do you do to show the ridges on a roof, I think thats what really makes the rendering look real. I know archiCAD has a tool that takes care of this problem quickly they have a built in Block that you can give it two points and it fills in the roofs with tiled ridges that make it look excellent, Why dont i move to ArchiCAD cause I just learned ADT so give me some time. But if anyone has a solution that be most helpful. Thanks I have enclosed a picture showing what i mean by roof tile ridges i circled them in red take a look and see if you can help.
