Larissa Holderness
Is it possible to automatically assign a material (not just a color) to newly created geometry as it is created?
heni30
It does seem like kinda of a neat idea - seeing your building "materialize" right before your very eyes. But was there a practical reason for wanting to do it? Edited June 3, 2016 by heni30
Larissa Holderness
I believe I saw somewhere that you can assign a color by layer but not a material. Just thought it would be an interesting thing to do. Was starting a new 3D scene and thought it would be interesting to model things and have the mats automatically assigned ... but mostly just have a clay material initially. Francisco Penaloza
I think this is a very specific case, I really don't see a use for this in my workflow. But again it may work for you. What you mean a Clay texture?? is not that a flat color?? or just model while using material overwrite with a AO for everything?
