christosviskadourakis
Hello there, I am facing a problem. I have an interior scene which the camera looks on the interior as well as outside, through windows. The exterior is empty (I will put some backplates in post-production). However, I have a vray plane which gives me the effect I want, which is some lighting coming (as reflected) from below as it would do a road or a pedestrian street. The problem is that the vray plane is visible on the reflection of windows and I dont want that. If I set the vray plane as a Matte object I lose the reflected light I want. I have tried to set the vray plane as matte object, as matte for refle/refract, I have tried to set it as invisible to camera (through object properties) but I dont have the result I want, which is to keep the reflected light from the plane but to hide the plane in the reflections of the windows-glass. Any ideas? Thank you Christos Edited June 13, 2016 by christosviskadourakis
Chris MacDonald
Set it to invisible to reflections/refractions? Or do you end up with the same issue then?

John Dollus
change it in the object properties and not in the vray properties
