jfharper
I bought an upgrade to vray3.4, sent my wbc file, got the rtu file, reprogrammed my dongle, got vray3.4demo from my chaos group login, installed for 3ds max 2016 sp3, installed wibu driver, device manager shows no errors, confirmed in browser that my vray license is working and correct and active, have license server registered and can see vrayservice in task manager in win 7 pro x64, in max, also in windows firewall exception for vray license server is added, vray shows up as 3.4 DEMO and when I try to render I get error saying demo restricted to 640x480 pixels max size or something like that. So my guess is something isn't see me vray license. max 2016 is also a new single user perpetual license, says so in the help, about max area. Is vray supposed to say DEMO in max render dialog? EDIT: I just checked my account again, and now there are the adv versions in there, when they sent me the email last week to setup my account and dl the software, only the demo was there, I didn't know that. jfharper
when I open max and look in the browser for the license status, it tells me 1 total, meaning it sees the dongle license, but ingaged is 0...is this supposed to change once I open max, or start rendering? Sketchrender
Have you the right version? You know you have to send back a text file with the licence inof and they will will send you the activation keys?
