JeremyRamsay
Hi, I'm using Backburner 3D Max 2016 on two machines and can't get the Vray Render elements produced properly. All I can get is the top strip. I know I can get a .EXR file created but it that doesn't work if they're being shared over two machines. Can anyone advise please? Thanks. nickroz
In case you never got this setup, turn off VFB (and VFB channel saving) and use the Max buffer to autosave. The strips of render elements will save alongside the RGB pass and Backburner will stitch them all together at the end. Works in Max 2016. VFB doesn't support strips as they continue to overwrite each other, so you're only left with the last rendered strips.
TomD_Arch
Also, make sure both machines can see the drive where you are saving them, i.e.- not your personal desktop, for example, if you are on a company network.
