CEJ1976
Hi, I have a single layer image in Photoshop that has the following dimensions: Width = 18432 px Height = 1536 px I am trying to find a script that will divide this image into 12 individual layers of 1536 x 1536 px (vertically) and then save each individual layer as a 1536 x 1536 px image. The vertical offset for each layer will need to be an identical 1536 px. Can anyone please help??? Thank you.
rsuleyman
Which version of Photoshop are you using? Photoshop CC has the option to create Guide Layouts. You could create a layout with 12 columns and 1 row. Then with the Slice tool, click the 'Slices From Guides' button. Finally, go to File>Export>Save for Web. It will then save each slice as an individual file in a folder. There's probably a better way of doing it but that's what I came up with off the top of my head. CEJ1976
Photoshop cc 2014. Thanks for the reply. The save for web function allows to save out all slices as individual files, however I am restricted by file type and image size when using Save for web unfortunately. If i could use that approach it would be perfect but i can only save out at a max of 44.44% of the original tiff image.
Peter M. Gruhn
Just guessing - There might be a sprite script out there that you could modify.
