Dimitris Tolios
How much cheaper? Which compromise are you willing to make? Slightly slower Multi-threaded but same single threaded? Slower multithreaded but better single-threaded? Slower GPU? A 1070 perhaps? Also, do realize that in 2P systems, each CPU has its own banks of RAM. These are dual / quad channel chips. For maximum bandwidth you should go for quad channel on each CPU...that is 8x dimms total. As a minimum I would suggest 2x dimms on each, for at leats dual-channel performance, again, that would be 4x dimms total.
Nikolaos M
He could also just change this gigantic chassis with something more normal in size, and also the 1050W Platinum psu. And he doesn't need 2xh80i for cooling. Two mid-end air coolers would be just fine, as long as the motherboard can hold them side by side. But I think that our friend is just seaking for specific answers. I saw some older posts and I think he's a bit confused about what he wants and what he really needs. ramon acha
I'd cut a bit in the CPU, If you go for the E5-2630 v4 x 2 instead of 2650, you'd save 1K and won't lose too much render power: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html I agree with Dimitry and would go for a 8x8GB RAM
