3DSM VRay 3.40.02 - Render Preset

I have a few render presets that I like to use - they were saved from a previous version of VRay and have the file extension rps. Upgraded to VRay 3.40.02 yesterday and now I have no idea how to load these render presets. I've searched Google and read this (https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VRAY3MAX/Presets) however, they don't seem to be working.

 

Also, I cannot post on the Chaos Group Forum ... or I would ask them.

 

Suggestions (other than downgrading my VRay)?

Are you sure it's not a .cfg file (vray.cfg)? That's what I've always seen in the Presets File box.

Yeah. I've used the *.rps just yesterday to set up a scene. It was an option at the bottom of the VRay (like this: http://www.krembo99.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/support/photo/Cgtalk-forums/20081104.cgtalk.settings.vray.jpg)

 

Now it doesn't have that option.

Ok. I found the render preset button. It's been moved to the top of the render settings box. However, I tried to load the *.rps and it said it isn't compatible. No idea why. :confused:

for vray presets, you have to change the 'default' to 'advanced' under the vray settings tab for them to appear.
