miroslavjandourek
Hello guys! I'm new here and I would like to ask you for little help with my personal project which is based on real photo. It is garage for car. I would like to have dark environment, so I set almost black color for background (in Environment and Effects). In scene I have one VRayLight - setup on Sphere type (i wanted "bulb" effect). I put settings of screen here in screenshots and also render with "dots" which I have no idea how I made them.. in some test renders there was not any "dots".. Also I would like to ask you, if you can recommend me some good V-Ray render setting for my computer specification: Intel Core I7 2600k with 12GB Ram. Also I'm using 3Ds Max 2016 and V-Ray 3.20. Thank you forward for your help!
landrvr1
Well, there's a few things to try: Change AA filter from Catmull to Mitchell. Make sure sub-pixel mapping is checked in Color Mapping Try those, one at a time. That's a good place to start.
Francisco Penaloza
I think is because you have the light inside your light fixture. You could push the VRay light outside of that mesh or exclude that lamp from the light.
