nitinbhamvani
Hello, I'm just dipping my toes back into the 3D visualisation world and, to this end, with a Safari Books online subscription, I've started working my way through the following book: 3ds Max design Architectural Visualisation""3ds Max design Architectural Visualization. The problem I have is that I have no idea where to find the resource files? The first exercise starts by asking us to open: ch03-01.dwg, for example. I assume that had this book been purchased, it would have come with a DVD of files, but since I'm reading it as part of a Safari Books online subscription service, I'm not provided with these files? For other books that I've subscribed to there are usually online links mentioned for downloading supporting files. Can anyone please help me find out where I can find such a link for this particular book? It was written by, Brian Smith, who has a strong connection with CGArcitect and CG Schools. Many thanks in advance for your help,
TomD_Arch
Have you tried emailing Brian Smith. I have all of their books and inthe past when i have come across an issue they are great about getting a response back to you within 24 hours. I don't know anything about Safari books or how that works, but i wonder if the exclusion of access to the files is intentional to get you to BUY the book??? Virgil Johnson
I haven't the book here in NY but as I recall there is a link (address) for the files in the first part of the book (somewhere). As I remember you kind of have to look for the link. I think you just have to register on the site and you can get at the files. But then again I am going back years in my memory.
