Devin Johnston
I'm trying to import a Sketchup model the ground plane was created using the Geo location tool. The ground plane is a combination of about 100 different snapshots, this was done to increase the quality and resolution of the ground plane. Everything is fine in Sketchup but when I import the file into Max the model only has 2 of the 100 ground plane maps on it. I've attached an image showing what this looks like, needless to say this isn't what I was expecting. Apparently Sketchup won't export the other 98 maps for some reason and I need to find out if there is a way to get around this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Scott Dombrowski
Export to FBX from Sketchup. The regular Sketchup import does exactly as you described, but when you go the FBX route, all the textures come in fine. Kudos on having the patience to grab all those tiles.
