Hello guys,

For those of you who use Twinmotion or who are interested in this 3D real-time visualization software, we'd like to share with you in this post, some official tutorials and tips of Twinmotion.

Let's begin with this one

In the material library of Twinmotion, you have a wide choice of materials that can adapt automatically to the time of day or night. Their UV scale, opacity ,halo effects, illumination or brightness can be further adjusted in the Advanced Material properties. We can also add bump mapping to apply relief effects for added realism.

Besides all of these, many of you prefer to create your own materials. In this video, you will learn how to do so, and how to save them in the customer library.

We hope this tutorial will be helpful to you.

You could download a 30-day trial version and try with your Revit/Max/SketchUp/ArchiCAD/Rhino/etc..models or sign up for our next free Twinmotion live webinar to learn more about this tool.

Any questions or comments are welcomed :)

BIMmotion is a new feature in Twinmotion 2016. It is a free, self-executable file (mono or stereoscopic) that includes your project model and the Twinmotion engine. Therefore, without installing other applications, including Twinmotion, your customers and partners can walkthrough the project instantly, change perspective, follow an animation, move in 3D freely and in real-time.

For now, BIMmotion only works with Windows 7/8/8.1/10.

In order to provide users a VR experience, since Twinmotion 2016.01, BIMmotion file is compatible with Oculus Rift VR glasses as well.

In this video, we are introducing what is BIMmotion, and what you can do with it.

Hope you enjoy it.

It's easy to make animation videos in Twinmotion. Just take several shots and the movement is calculated automatically. But often, if you make a too long shot, the camera in your video may turn too fast, it may also go through walls, and make you feel like sitting in a roller coaster.

Well, it's recommended to make several short shots and put them together using the "movie tool". It's a new feature in Twinmotion 2016. Many users don't know about it yet. In this video, we are showing how to use it.

Hope you enjoy it.
