Sketchup 3D Floor plan Render ( Needed Help )

Plz help me any one in teaching me! Am struggling to learn frm many days as how to pass the sunlight through doors and windows but not from ceiling in sketchup Floorplan. Wen i place ceiling and hide thru two sided material while rendering rooms becoming dark. U can see the difference in the images attached.

Your probably going to need artificial lights inside the rooms. In other words the render on the right is correct. The sun alone isn't enough to light the entire inside of the floor plan.
