chriskiser
I have run into an issue twice now where vray lights are rendering in reflections in 2 different scenes even when they are set to invisible AND affect reflections is turned off. It dosnt happen to all the lights, just some at random. Here is an example. There are vray light planes in the interior that are appearing in the reflection of the exterior metal. Has this happened to anyone else? This is the second project that this has happened on. Any help would be great. Thanks.
Francisco Penaloza
As a random problem, no I haven't had that problem. Light react the way they should, it is a physical simulation, if you put big lights close to a shiny metal, you'll see them. Did you un-check, reflection and glossiness out of that light?? if still happens, you may need to exclude that mesh out of those lights. Maybe is the reflected light in the glass that is bouncing in to your metal. You don't see the light, but the reflection does.
John Dollus
check your render elements and find out which pass is picking it up. Easier to diagnose after that
chriskiser
The issue is limited to the reflection render elements. Ill try the HGlossiness suggestion.
