lolserver
Hey, If I place a rectangular vray light in my scene I can't make it invisible even tho the "invisible" box is checked, it comes as a rectangular black shape. Any help please?.. using Max 2016 vray 3.40.01 Regards

lolserver
Thanks for your post Francisco :-). I just switched from 3D Studio Max 15 to 16 and using vray 3.40.01. I did not have such problem with Max 15. It is just a plain vray light squared shaped that I placed under a lamp. As you can see it is black when turned off despite the invisible box is checked. Of course it turns white when turning it on. I have no idea how to make it "invisible" no matter how many tricks I try. As there are several light choices with Max 2016 & vray, I can find a way out although it is NOT the point not being able to use those popular squared vray lights as in previous versions. Thanks in advance again. Edited October 10, 2016 by lolserver
