Sawyer
OK I REALLY wanted to go this year to the CGpalooza but it just wasn't in the cards. What I want to know is how much $ does the gig run? Without air/hotel what are the fees and kind of a real daily budget? Also how much is it to have my picture taken with Ted Boardman?
Ted Boardman
>>Also how much is it to have my picture taken with Ted Boardman? Sawyer, You get there and we'll make sure that happens for free! Is easy because I don't move that quickly. Siggraph full conference is around US$800-1000, I believe. That includes any classes, sessions, electronic theater, and exhibits. Exhibit tickets are around $75, but you can usually get a pass from vendors. The theater is around $50. I don't do the conferences, so the flight and hotel are the expense. Even those can be reasonable if you plan ahead. In any case, it is worth doing all you can to make it to a Siggraph. Good luck Ted
nisus
Hi all, I won't be able to make it due to the cost of the flight and stay... but I don't have to come, as I do got a picture of myself with Ted allready Got to find it somewhere...
