Devin Johnston
Is anyone using Mocha for rotoscope work along with After Effects, if you are how's the workflow and the learning curve?
James Vella
I used it for a job about 2 years ago, when I used It I thought that the tracking tools were brilliant, much better than the vanilla tools in After Effects. Took me about 4 hours to learn what not to do, then the rest of the day refining it. Its was a very stable track - I prefer the planar tracking toolset. Francisco Penaloza
Yep, it work pretty good actually. now it all depends of your footage, if it is too blurry and has rolling shutters, it will be a pain. What I do sometimes is use a more contrast version of the footage to make MOCA work better, but over all it should not take you too long to learn, just follow the intro tutorials and you'll be fine in a few hours.
