Andrew Adams
Could be firing in the dark here but is it possible it is ambient occlusion or you have some stray vertices/edges? Or overlapping geometry? It all looks pretty clean though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Andrew Adams
I see Vray has also produced 3 warnings in the render, what do those warnings say? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jeanchevallier
Hi Andrew thx for your help here is another screenshot with another 3ds max scene and you can see better the Vray warnings
Andrew Adams
Hmmm, I don't know, the warnings are only talking about the Frame Buffer. To me the issue looks like a geometry issue or an unsuccessful UVW Map. I'm asking the obvious, but you have properly unwrapped the model and assigned the correct mapping channel right? jeanchevallier
Yes its properly unwrapped and also assigned the correct mapping channel. How can i check if its a geometry issue ? But a geometry issue would be strange because i get those black parts on any of my scenes and objects. And when i do a scene render (Not a rendering to texture) my object dont have those black parts . It happen only when i make a texture rendering. And look like its doing it only with Vray and not others 3ds renders like mental ray Edited January 10, 2017 by jeanchevallier
